Problem solved feeding sunflower kernels

I have little brown ants here which I have to wage war with every summer as they love termites, softfoods & absolutely swarm over sunflower kernels which I feed to my Siskins.
Yesterday I mixed some fossil flour (diamotaceous earth) with sunflower kernels before feeding & the ants haven't gone near it & the Siskins still readily feed on it so all's good.
I mixed a desert spoon of fossil flour into a breaky fruit jar of sunflower kernels.
