How to get rid of blue/grey lichen

In the last 10 years or more blue/grey lichen has taken over Geelong's roofs etc and looks quite ugly. It attacks all sorts of roofs including tile and metal. My problem is that has now attached its self to my corrugated laserlite on my aviaries and from looking at it from underneath it seems to be eating it away as it does to colourbond and tiles so i'm not game to high pressure it as i did to the deck roof of my carport as now it leaks as the lichen caused it to go rusty. Silicon has stopped that till i replace it later down the track.
So my question is,is there anything on the market that will kill this munching invasive fungi that won't affect the laser lite or metal roof,i have heard of copper oxide but that can eat your gutters and spouts out if zincalume of which all mine are. :x Craig

This blue/grey lichen is believe to be brought into the city by landscapers using volcanic rocks covered in this stuff, home owners want the large rocks with as much of this pretty (Awful) stuff on them for their gardens for ascetic reasons.

I've been told that if you use a small spray bottle with neat bleach it should kill it.

Never used it myself

Chlorine bleaches will do a good job but will cause corrosion in certain cases
