can I put these two species together, black heart finches with red cheeked cordon blue finch. For nesting, breeding.....

Paul, depending on what size aviary you have them in it should be ok. Cordons can hold their own ground but longtails can be very inquisitive and aggressive when it comes to nesting sites,nesting materials and foods supplied. But in saying that,give it a go as you could always try another specie with them if it doesn't work out imo. Craig

Cheers for the info Craig, aviary is 4x2x2 is a double cage I just open the centre door, I will give it a go
