They are still around. :D

I have some young pairs for sale. Breed quite a few regularly every year. Their beauty far exceeds a regular Red Brow IMO. Watch for my article in Just finches in the coming months.

Well done Greg,i thought you went out of them as well. Will have to get a copy of JF&S as i dropped out due to price. Craig

I will always have these little guys as they have so much character. Quite different from the regular red brow in appearance and behaviour. I would like to see more breeders keep them. They are not easy to breed but they are not hard either given the right conditions. They just need a good draft prove aviary with good protection from the elements.

The article will appear in the next issue I think.

There are plenty of red brows around our area atm. I love watching them swarm around the fields. There's some nest around the reeds where I play golf. They're gregacious behaviour is something to behold. Might be time for a camera upgrade!
