Has anybody played with the idea of developing blue heads using the recessive AD?
From a observation from a visual pair of AD's i see blue coming through on both sexs of black heads and I feel that a blue head could be developed in both sexs a lot quicker than if you were dealing with SF Euro's.

Go for it Rich. I wish you the best of luck and see no reason why you will not succeed.

Don't get to excited, just poking around for people's opinions...finchbreeder wrote:Go for it Rich. I wish you the best of luck and see no reason why you will not succeed.

Will see this season if I can reproduce my blue head bird.
Looks nice in the sun.
In a few years we will have some stunning birds I imagine.
