I just ordered the last 3 copies - more will be in stock soon.
1 copy for Kevin Devnie (dealer employing Kimberley trappers)
1 copy for Ray Ackroyd (trapper and now guide)
1 copy for me!
Will be interesting to hear Kevin and Ray's critique as neither was consulted. Will make a great article for "The Finch Breeders Review"

Copies just arrived. Looks to be pretty comprehensive.
A lot of truth in the following 1932 quote from trapper/bird dealer George Riddell. Not sure it would be accepted these days!

Got mine last week, haven't had a chance yet to read it fully. Agree, not the best seller but for bird nerds who want to know how our Native finches became some of the world's most kept species in the earlier years it's priceless for information. Craigarthur wrote:More . . (5) I think . . in stock
Don't know why such limited numbers, but may not be a best-seller in the 'real world'
Have bought one . . may be my only Xmas present . . even though I have been good
