Just fledged - my first ever wren. I'm pretty happy!
Not sure but I think there's at least one more hiding.
Here's some video - https://youtu.be/5Mff1xT1Zpg
I thought the nest had failed because they are currently constructing a new nest - must be for the next clutch.

Great stuff. He looks to be a very attentive father - and gorgeous in the sunlight too.
That young one is very well developed. I just had my first young Turquoise Splendid for the season fledge a few days ago & its a bit underdone compared to your little dude.

Well done Sam,
I would say the odds may be in your favour for all three, no predators and plenty of TLC.
Good luck,
Ken.

They're sitting in a grevillea - not sure of the name. The nest is in a westringia down quite low - about 2 foot above ground.finchbird2015 wrote:Stunning birds Sam such a bright blue color , btw what is the shrub they are nesting in.
