Hello partners,

I bring some new videos on a species that is still very dificl to find in Europe, the Goldfinch Cordillerano. (Yellow-rumped siskin) are very sensitive to the captive birds and their adaptation is complicated. They are living in Chile, Argentina and South West of Peru and Bolivia. Lives in high mountain areas.

Looks like a cross between a yellow siskin and a himalayan greenfinch.

Thanks for sharing.

It looks a very attractive finch, with such a strong contrast between the yellow and black. Makes you understand why the Brits were so dissapointed to lose the only canary with true black feathering during WW2.
