The Birds seem to going well at the moment

All is going well at the moment, I had a break a while back & now trying to get back into the finches, seen I wasn't doing much with the aviaries I gave 3 of them to my 2 sons, I kept a 20ftX12ft myself, I subdivided it into 12ftx12ft & 8ftX12ft, I started with 4 or 5 pairs of red parrot finches 4 pairs painteds & 2 prs orange breasts, 1 pr Cubans, & 2 pairs of Ruddies, the weird part is most the red face parrot finches were old & I mostly had hens, so I kept adding cocks until I thought I had all pairs, so I was off to a slow start, I only bred 2 single babies & most pairs still not doing a lot, but one of the cocks I bred has so far Bred 30 babies but only had 24 survive as they left the nests early in middle of winter, they have just thrown another 15 young from the other pairs at last, I was so close to removing all the old hens, but there hard to find, everyone only got spare cocks, my son just bought 8 prs & looks like nearly all are cocks.
I also Bred 7 ruddies, 24 orange breasts, 8 Cubins & 7 Painteds, the painteds were disappointing considering there always been my best breeders over the years, I sold all my Ruddies today & 5 red face parrot males, trying to make room for some of the young red face parrot finches growing up, also my son is leaving home so I am getting back one my aviaries, Ill subdivide that & make a holding cage & a smaller breeding aviary, both will be 4ftx12ft, but first my son has to move & then take all his masks, peachfaces & fichers with him.
My set up now is so small compared to what I had set up before, my backyard use to be full of aviaries right around the whole backyard but now I only have a 44ftX12ft long aviary complex on one side & a new Bird room, if you check out my blog link below you will see some my older birds & the aviaries, I Have bred birds for 53 years on & off, I had a couple small breaks in there.
So things are looking good seen I only just restarted last year.
