Arthur,

Are my eyes playing tricks on me? I think I can see a birds head a little over halfway down. Rock warbler nest?

Ken.

No little heads . .

The proud 'owner-builder' . . she does all the work, and from time to time the 'building inspector' gives it the once-over

E Orix is correct

Nest is only 2 days into construction, and I will post more from time to time

Yep Sunbird...we had them at certain times of the year building right next to BBQ roof (Mackay)...they certainly aren't afraid to raise their young close to humans

Yeah,

That's what buckled me, didn't know Authur's location. Have seen them live, but never the nest.

Ken.

My guess would have been coastal from the Cape to about Sarina / Saint Lawrence

Can't remember them around R'ton as a kid but Rocky is not really coastal

VP is a Hervey Bay boy, so he may be able to join a few dots

Have you seen them in the Hunter iaos?
