Did the sprouted seed/vege mix again today. What I do FYI:

I add about half a cup each of Livamol & Wombaroo insectivore mix to all this & it makes 8 litres which is frozen & I use 1 litre/day.
I give 2 heaped desertspoons to each breeding aviary each morning & they get a bunch of fresh grass heads pegged up each arvo for the soft seed component of the finches' diet.

Looks like a very evenly balanced soft food diet which you have proven works well by the amount of birds you breed Tiaris.Your method of freezing is the best way to go as i do. Craig

I can see what the vegies are Tiaris. But are the leaf aditions bok choi, kale and some type of spinach? Also What size is the leb cucumber frozen in the mix . I have tried freezing it with no success by itself i think it has to much moisture in it to be frozen alone.

The leafy greens in that mix are chicory, French sorrel & comfrey, but I just use whatever is growing in the yard at the time I make up each mix. At different times this can include the ones you mention and/or some wild ones like dandelion, chickweed, fat hen or cos lettuce from the fridge - whatever is available.
The leb cucumber is just a medium sized one. When it has been smashed up & mixed with sprouted seed the little bits freeze ok in the mix - better than large pieces on their own.

Its half parrot sprout mix (Mung beans, Pigeon peas, dunn peas, sunflower, corn, safflower & wheat), & a quarter each hulled oats & grey sunflower.
