Hi all,

I have done a search on the Forum on Diatomaceous Earth and came across posts on the scientific background and the use of Zebs as guinea pigs but no real Yay or Nay on the topic.

So the questions are: -

Do you use Diatomaceous Earth at all?

What birds do you give access to it?

Do you use Diatomaceous Earth as a dust bath type?

Do you add it to your finch seed?

How else do you use it?

i use it in my nest boxes and seed bins

I Mix it in there seeds, plus Spinkle in nesting boxes, and add it to there shell and mineral mix.

I put a little in the seed mix for the birds Also a bit in the bottom of the nest boxes as a pest deterrent.
