Bullfinch. were these ever imported into Australia?

The Eurasian Bullfinch (Pyrrhula pyrrhula) were these ever imported by the early settlers into Australia?

From what i have heard they were but were and still hard to breed (os that is).

Would be mice for an old hand to twll some history.

they are my favourite finch based on photos.
Breeding Project 2020-2025.
agate mosaic canaries, agate yellow mosaic canaries, red zebs, self bengos and goldfinch mules.

The last ones I saw were in the late Ken Forbes collection.
They were the UK race Pink CB and Greyish F
That was back in the early 1980's

Thanks for the replies.

Was lucky enough to see plenty of them in Europe last year.
Also a large number of different colour mutations around there.
From the numbers I would suggest not too hard to breed.
