Scarlet sighting

For the past few days this little fella has been showing up and spending some quality time in our backyard.

Unfortunately no sign of his partner but this week I will be keeping a keen eye on him with the camera ready in case he shows up with a lady friend or young.

Any of your neighbours got a dense bit of bush in their gardens that they could be nesting in? Nice pics.

It's possible, I was interested in researching them and seeing if I could set something inviting up for him.
Maybe it's even the wrong time of the year, I wouldn't know...
