My pair of Gouldians have stopped sitting on their eggs 3 days ago. They still appear interested in the same breeding box. Would it help them if I removed the eggs or do they always do it themselves?

Might not have finished laying?

Mine sometimes abandon the nest for no apparent reason. Candle them to see if they are full, wait a couple of days then toss them if they don't sit again.
