Does anyone have any treatment ideas for scaly leg mite that don't involve daily, messy oily options?
Thought I read somewhere that ivermectin could be used but don't know the dosage and not sure about food safety in egg producing hens.

moxidectin would most likely be just as good as ivomectin.

As suggested Moxidectin but applied direct to the leg with a cotton bud over the effected area.

I found this maybe good to feed them back to the birds or other animals for a few days. Although I have got it on my hands before with no problem.
