EGGS

My Gouldian's are laying eggs but not sitting on them new to this any ideas please.

1st are you sure they do not just get off the nest when they hear you coming? this is something many finches do in the early stages of nesting.
So the questions are how many eggs do they have? How many pairs do you have?

There approx. 6 eggs and only one pair in the aviary

So it is time for them to be sitting regularly, and no other Gouldians are disturbing them. Are there any other birds in the avairy that could be disturbing them? Are they a young inexperienced pair?

Iam wondering if they are young so how long should you leave eggs in nest before removal.
