In Victoria the licence is relavant to birds and native fauna listed on it.And no need to apply fo listed fauna, only if importing or exporting interstate.

Situation seems to be that wildlife dept here in NSW hasnt got the funds to check on breeders any more and very few people worry about licenses....Ive sent away for one regardless just for peace of mind.
There was not any questions about birds on the application basically just send in the money and wait 21 days.
Breeder is happy to have his name on any future paperwork so Im not expecting any problems , and Ill be buying any future birds from him so it should all be ok.

Have only heard of them checking one blokes house in these parts. Many years ago they went to a blokes house,he had about 80 to 100 avairys. He had to tell them what nearly all the birds were because they had no idea.they only went there because he had majors at the time and was breeding them.they thought he must have been getting them from the wild.
