mate unless you have a lot of room and no other birds i wouldnt bother. they can at most times not mix well with other birds ...... research my freind.....pete

i think gomer breeds the crimson finch but not in wa i think but also he sed hes breeds them in a mixed aviary and they go fine with other birds maybe ask him

Yeah, mine are fine in small to medium avairys,in mixed collections.housed with birds such as masked,we mask,pictorella,yellow rump,gouldian (red heads)and other male crimsons.i have just got some new cock birds which are yet to be tested with these birds.I have heard some are very aggressive though.
