In my recent thread about the Goldfinch, a few said that they get a bit noisy when other birds come near them. Is this a constant issue, or just now & then. I have a mixed aviary that is 3m x 0.8m with 12 finches. I would like to add a male goldfinch as long as it doesn't 'scream' all day long. What are your thoughts?
Thanks, Dave

When aviary of that dimension is already overcrowded adding another stress to that situation could be disastrous IMO

Haven't had Goldies for some time, but never found them noisy or interfering.

If its a mixed aviary & if you get Cubins, the Cubins can get a bit touchy with Goldfinches, because of the yellow, in all the years I have had Cubins, the only problem was with Goldfinches.
