Hi People
Is it a myth or is it true that having an Australian tea bush in your aviary will help to keep your gouldians healthy?

This is the bush that I am talking about:
Melaleuca alternifolia, commonly known as narrow-leaved paperbark, narrow-leaved tea-tree, narrow-leaved ti-tree, or snow-in-summer.

Don't know about that one. But it would be a great nesting site for those finches that like to build their own, so if you have other finches in there give it a try anyway. I find that natural greens like saltbush, and weed seeds from the garden are the go when they are breeding. So plant any seeding grasses you can get your hands on, mind hubby says its time the seeding grasses were culled before they completely take over the back yard.
