Is bar width on the chest the best method to sex these guys?
The only sure method apart from DNA is - if it lays an egg its a hen. I go by the bit between the bars. The whiter it is the more likely to be a cock. But as that only works with fully mature not really a lot of help. Just do what I have just done. Had 2 added 5 now have 7. The guy I got the 5 from put 7 in and avairy and now has 45. Hope to emulate him.
