Hi is there any chance you could add a safe and toxic plant list for us who want to plant out an aviary. It takes a lot of google searching to find plants that are safe or toxic and I thought having a reference point here would be great, especially since a lot of members have planted aviarys and know first hand what plants have worked for them.

As a start point the search up the top right hand corner of this page, and "plants for avairys". Will afford a very good list.

The Avicultural Society of South Australia has a great publication available called "IS IT SAFE" The Bird Keepers Pictorial Guide to Safe and Poisonous Plants. $9.50 including postage plus they have another publication about seeding grasses. well worth the effort to get them.

Being over here in the west, any chance of putting their address up?

Thanks, with Christmas coming up they could prove an excellent suggestion for my "I don;t know what to buy you" family. And others on here might like to try the same with their families.
