Had another four crimsons jump out of the nest yesterday.Hopfully i might get a hen this time.As have only got cocks from my two pair so far.

its been a funny here .most my birds had hens this year from my finches to the parrots. the softies are another mater....pete

softies didnt do to well this year chris , got two white wings ,lost a hen splendid and i have a replacement now..plus iam getting white fronted chatys next week its never ending....pete

hi greg there pretty easy to keep . need a bit of space but . all live food i feed mine meal worms, maggots and pupae, crickets , moths that are attracted to the avery using a black light and i have a scrap bucket in there to atract vinegar flies. never fed mine termites but that will change soon . they dont like anything else blue or partly blue in there path. the prettiest of birds and the most vicious but they are the easiest of them all...pete

I have been thinking of getting a pair for my finch avairy whhich is 5m x 3.6m and 2m high, would this be large enough to house a pair with finches.
