My finches love them. They know when I am approaching the aviary with them.
They are relatively easy to grow. Are they safe enough to use every day?

Any green leafed vege that we normally eat - lettuce, broccoli, spinach, etc - are fine every day. Mine get a salad mix of lettuce varieties, baby spinach and endive, with other weeds from the yard - just nothing with milky sap (apart from milk thistle - that's fine). The more the merrier, especially on a hot day.
