Depends on what size aviary..how many birds and type of birds are in there already...are you wanting to breed them etc

Size of aviary 10 m sq
looking at plumheads, double bars, OB's, red brows, St Helena's ?? just looking around for nice birds
Hardier birds that don't mind a little cold ,
Breeding yeah a bit later
Did a bit of reading about greenfinches and thought lets ask some questions

1 pr per aviary when I had them...as for the others less is more when breeding young...10 sq mtr to me would be 5 breeding pair of mixed birds...or 10pr as a community aviary not wanting everything to breed....

Ive had them for a few years

One pair or a trio of 2 hens and a cock works best for that size aviary.

They are easy to breed but hard to keep as they are a very stressed and highly strung bird even more so than my trapped euro greenfinches. Keep zebs n goulds away from them.

They are just very flighty. For example I have one hen that gets that worked up when i clean the aviary she passes out. I thought it was dead the first time but after a few minutes it pulls itself together and flies off. If you like to sit and watch your birds these guys will just hide. I have wild caught greenfinches that seem calmer. I jeep mine in an aviary out of the way and with lits of brush for them to hide in.

I still like them though and enjoy watching the male change into breeding condition. The first young i bred were bred in a 1700 x 900 x 1800h flight.

Ideally i believe that they need a large planted aviary

Ok
I thought they might be a good inclusion to aviary down here being from a similar climate
I also liked the look of your birds and I like something a little different
What do you consider a large aviary

Thanks for your thoughts
Glenn
