Goldys hatched their first young. They tossed a dead egg yesterday so i was relieved to see this guy today. The other 2 fertile eggs are under my spare yellow siskin hen.

Hope the heat dont kill them.

5 out of 5 eggs were full which isnt bad from a wild pair purchased in april.

In our area we have heaps. In my new estate all the mid size trees hold nests and young. I got these guys from a sale so they are more than likely Melbourne Birds.

The rogue zeb has been isolated. Unfortunately for me i cant pee him off as his got the best red colour.
