Just getting branches and brush hopefully for the aviary.

- I take it that bottle-brush branches are fine (given its a native) ?
- Can anyone let me know thoughts on Camphor laurel branches ? I can have access to these very easily.

Is anyone able to point me into the direction of some brush within the sydney inner suburbs?

Thanks in advance

If you cant access brush...make some roll up wire rolls and stuff them with grass, and hang those...

As a fellow inner-city dweller I primarily use Prickly-leaved paperbark (Melaleuca styphelioides), which is one of the most common street trees.

Bottle brush is excellent.
Camphor laurel not so good - leaves drop & are quite smooth & shiny as is the bark - not good for supporting nests.

I'd definitely go with BB.

For branches I find mulberry tree and cape lilac tree both good.
