A few of us from Geelong made the trip.It was a very good sale with plenty of finches, nothing out of
the ordinary just your bread and butter species.Darren Toll (he takes the table bookings)told me it
was the biggest they have had in Shepparton. All goes well for the rest of the Victorian sales.
This Sunday is the Mornington sale which is becoming one of the biggest in Vic,it's on the 28th of May.

I went " home" to Shepp from geelong to see my parents as we hadn't seen them in almost a year (cancer treatment for dad and my kids kept getting a recurring infection) so dad was double excited to be able to tell me the sale was on.

It was the first sale I had been to in a few years. The venue was great, very large and spaced out, not cramped in like it used to be in mooroopna or the other shed they apparently used to use at the show grounds.

Was good to see a few faces that i remembered from 30 years ago as a teenage member of the GV branch.

As jack said, lots of finches.

Although it has been a while, I hadn't seen diamond fire tails at a sale for quite some time, and there were a fair few of them.
