I have a semi-tame Cockatiel i 'rescued' from a home breeder.

The question is how compatible are they with finches?

I currently have a 5m x 2m x 2m planted aviary with finches and a pair of neophemas.

I am thinking about putting the Cockatiel in with them?

they are compatible but can prove too inquisitive for the finches while nesting.

Yes it should be ok but i would worry about the cockatiel and your plants,they can be a bit destructive on them. Craig

Thank you. When i bought him he had been clipped so badly he was almost bald. His feathers have now grown back so he needs to go into an aviary so he can fly around. Hoping the pair of neophemas provide some practical lessons.
