Pigeon Racing Victoria

Sam/anyone since you were with the pigeon guys. Do you/or anyone know much about whats happening with the ban on pigeon racing in Victoria ? I was told locally its disease related .Is it only caught by pigeons if this is so ? I have seen pigeons getting let out of the lofts around town. Atleast I never see a pigeon anywhere about where I live but you never know.
