Hi all,

wondering if anyone knows of a site (or book) which identifies which wild grasses/ grains are ok for finches to consume, preferably ones with pictures.

The South Australian Avicultural Society have produced a booklet titled "What Seeding Grass is That?" It describes, with pictures, approx. 65 different bird friendly grasses. Contact Richard Chilton (amalurus@adam.com.au) for more details if you are interested. It costs approx. $10 posted.

Great book, well worth having.They also have another called ''Is it Safe" about different plants.
