Been doing a bit of sorting and rearranging here. Some of my young cocks from the red/fawn/charcol line have become more red after their moult. So if you get some with a bit more red than others, give them a moult to see how they develop. Hope to see those of you in the West at Mandurah in a little over 3 weeks.

Interesting mix there. Mine have all been very not interested over the very erratic weather we have had for several months. But seem to be showing a little interest again. So here is hoping for more young reds. How is everyone else going with theirs?

Nice colours. Not seeing many (if any) females in that photo though!

Mine are producing about 50/50 male and female. Unfortunately also about 50/50 red and non red. Finally worked out that it is a random dominant gene a while back. Only took me a couple of years. :silent: Most of mine look like the guys in the top right of the last picture.

My Lil Sis took some pictures of some of My Zebs for me yesterday. We will try to put some of the pics up here later today.

Thank you to my sister for taking the pics, and Shane for putting them up for me.
As you can see I have a bit of a mix there. Some better than others.
Now all I have to do is re-sort everyone, as they are all mixed up since hubby left the connecting door between avairies open while dealing with the snake.
And it has been stinking hot and high humidity for most of the past month.

Have you got shade cloth above the aviaries?
If not, make up a frame and put some shade cloth 12 inches (or more) above the aviary to reduce the heat hitting the tin roof.
