Hi guys my name is steve and i live in the uk.Just got 2 new pairs of Gouldians after a 2 year break from birds. My original idea was to start up with our native birds like Goldfinches,Bullfinches and Siskins but at the Staffordshire summer bird show i came across these stunners and i was hooked on Gouldians once again :D .I know from reading some of the posts on here that some of you are'nt overstruck on blues but i can honestly say that all the times i have kept blues (touch wood) i have never lost a bird.Maybe they are'nt so delicate over here ;) Now ive just gotta try and figure out how to put some pics of them up

Hi and welcome to the forum Steve from an ex pat.

I love the gouldians and next year I hope to get some white fronted yellow backed birds and who knows where that will lead, would love it to lead to breeding blue birds.

Hi there and welcome. From what i understand gouldian mutations are alot more established in Euroupe and North America. So you would have a lot stonger strains your way.
