I managed to get some Moxidectin and treated the birds last weekend with the recommended amount. As its the birds first treatment with this do I repeat the treatment this weekend and then every 3 months after? Or just every 3 months from now. Instructions on the bottle just give the dilution.

Thanks for the link gomer, I have read just about all Dr Walker's site
The bottle on that page thats the one I have.
I have read on different posts on various sites that as this will be the birds first time with moxidectin they should be done again in.....and here is where things get vague
1. one week
2. 2 weeks
3. in 3 months
Any one remember what they did the first time they used moxidectin?

I use 'moxidectin plus' from the auspigeonco. I always make treatments a month apart.
safest thing to do would be what Gomer suggested, give them a call. get it from the horses mouth so to speak

I did ring the Aust Pigeon office, the lady there said to repeat the dose in 3 weeks then every 2 months after that. Bit concerned about leaving it 3 weeks before repeating the dose if what I have been reading is true about the life cycle being anything from 5 to 12 days........omg they could have built a city in the aviary before I get to dose the birds again!

If the lady said three weeks, thats what i would do.As when you see the adds on tv for it it outlasts all the rest.As it is still working for that period of time.

I'm only using Worm-Enda by aristopet.
It says to repeat after 14 days. Anyone using this? Is it any good?
Was it hard to get Diane & let us know how it goes.
