Hi all, I never knew this forum existed till today! I keep and breed a range of softbills and finches here in the home of finch keeping in NSW the Hunter Valley. Increasingly I am heading further down the softbill "road" an exciting but frustrating track.cheers to all . HONEYEATER

Hi there mate, welcome to the Aussie finch forum

Nice to see that yer becoming more interested in the softbills, I've always had a facination with softbills and have now slowly dwained away from the seed eaters and now completely specialise in small softbills, in truth I actually find that they are easier to maintain than seed eaters, only the pairing up of certain softbills can be rather problematic aswell as the expense of various live food when it comes to breeding em.

As a whole I truly love the softbills and to me are the ultimate challenge when it comes to breeding em

Be lucky
