IS this a hen or cock bird

Im alittle bit confused with this bird. its colour, I believed is charcoal. However. the dark feather is very dark. almost like a male charcoal without the brown flanks. black feather covered from face to vent

Looks like a very dark lady to me. Count your blessings and give her a husband. (I had a similar problem with a hen like this - was not sure of sex at first, but she has eggs) PS looks like she could do with a careful toenail trim. A mix of perch sizes is good for fixing this for the future.

Problems with the hind toe are usually due to over large perches that the bird can not circle with the foot. But her front toes also have slightly long toe nails, and this is what I was refering to. She is very dark, but that is the point, there is variety in birds. Give her a husband and good luck.
