Are cheveral and peathroat Goldfinches found in the wild in Australia?.

As Batuhan is in Turkey he probably does not know the answer to that question.
The only Goldfinches in the wild in Australia, are the offspring of avairy escapies.

No they aren't FB, they were introduce many years ago and they breed quite well here in Australia due to our temperate climate on the East coast and SA. Yours in the wild maybe escapees from aviaries in WA

Of Course Cheveral and peathroat Goldfinches found in the wild in Australia but very few/rare like everywhere in the world..

The gold finch we have here in Australia is the common British bird introduced into the wild. The only mutation or type we have are pieds or various shades in body colour of the common bird caught in the wild by trappers that is legal to do due being a foreign introduced species.
They are extremely hard to breed being wild caught birds but a few breeders have had success other than that cocks cross with canary hens to produce mules for singing.

Interesting to hear about the pieds Craig. Have not seen any on this side of the country. But then we are a bit isolated.
