Canary advice needed

Hi not sure if anyone can help me or not.

I have a canary who is young that I got last May, he has just started to breathe heavy and stop singing. I treated him yesterday for air sac mite, I don’t believe he is moulting yet he seems happy enough, he’s just breathing heavy and occasionally it looks like he is trying to dislodge some food.
This started happening the day after Melbourne had the 40 degree day

I was going to upload a video but unable to.

Upload video to youtube and post link here...is his tail pumping? Excessive wiping of beak?

Just me but I would give him a dose of moxidectin plus over a few weeks. ..5ml to the litre for two days and do same every seven days for three weeks. ..

Ok, is that the same as Avimec, would I be able to get it from a petshop?
Thanks

Avimec is similar..it is a topical product. ..one drop from memory either back of neck or under wing? Should have instructions on how to use. ..

Thank you
I put one drop of Avimec on the back of his neck yesterday, but I like the idea of dosing via drinking water.

I will see if I can find some

Thank you for your help, but it is too late as he just passed away.
He was really struggling to breathe.
