it grows in pots in her shadehouse. surely it isnt my fault that those pots move every few days into the aviary
she doesnt use any of it for the kitchen anymore.
would swear that the rosemary has a bullseye on it, all the birds seem to do is crap on it

Am always amazed at how many different types of plants finches will eat.
I read somewhere that that they recorded the Rosella parrots eating 200+ different plants.
Wouldn't surprise me if finches were a couple of hundred.

That Is quite a list Mick

, I feed a few of those too, but didn't realize that finches ate some of the others, I feed Chickory as well and all the birds love it, even though it is a bit bitter to taste, for humans anyway

I've always pulled up the dandelions and given them but never thought to give other herbs. Will have to try them in one of the hanging baskets I intend to start up for them.

dont give me birds any herbs as we had a problem growing them with the dog eating them so we gave up on growing herbs and didnt really think about giving to the birds.
