for $35 a kilo its easier for me to buy a few kilos every three months.but i have a neglected colony.

Over here they are expensive. So it is better for us to raise them our self.

I buy wholesale direct from the largest breeder in Aus.And in bulk.

i get mine for $30 a kilo. last me 2 months and i also breed my own to get smaller ones for the breeding season. i agree with gomer its cheaper to buy them in than breed your own, i dont have much room to do it.....pete

gomer i get mine from a lady over here who breeds them along with woodies and crickets. the last couple of kg i bought could have come from pisces or a breeder in brisbane. she had trouble a few things and had to bring in from the east...pete

have 3 colonies on the go at present. each started with approx 500 worms in it. trying to slow them down at the moment though have changed the heating light from a 40watt down to a 15watt. will change it back in a few weeks. hoping to have lots of tiny mealworm for breeding season.
if it dont work out back to pisces it will be
