I would like to know if possible from these pics what the sexes are of my birds. Thanks

For the Stars, I would say : Hen, left / Cock, right. I have a similarly marked 'hen', although I am now almost convinced that it is a not a hen at all.

For the PFs, I would guess : Hen, behind / Cock, in front...... but unsure from this view.

I was thinking maybe the parrot finches were both males.

I am thinking you are right about the BF. The stars are a pr, red feathers under the bill for a cock bird. Craig

The blue is more intense on the back parrot finch and iridescent green. with out seeing the rump and not taking the mask size into consideration. You may have two cocks going from the photos.

Yeah I think he is getting sick. Not sure why.

So I think the Male star has a cold. Seems to show the symptoms and with the changes in weather lately makes sense. I have separated him from the aviary. I have found on the net that probiotics are required can anyone recommend any?

I think that for the star finches, the one on the left is a female and the right one is a male because the plumage is brighter. I can't tell with the parrot finches, they both look the same.
