Don't get the reference … you are not old enough.
I suspect this does not apply to many AFF uses.
What this forum has in spades is expertise and experience
Wisdom from the wise owls but largely devoid of the harsh shrieks of the lorikeets.
Need information, this is where you come.
AFF is the best resource for Australian finch management in the world
Traffic is for advertisers, I am looking for accurate information in a timely manner.
AFF delivers
So a big thank you from me to all the moderators, past and present.
Your advice is why my cages are free of mice, my birds are healthy and my breeding success is good.
If my ego ever shrinks to the point were it needs stoking with likes and friends on social media, then you might see me on Facebook.
Don't hold your breath.
Brett
ps I wish Shane every success in the revamping of the forum, he has done a great job with the IT side already. Please don't make it like Facebook.

I think you'll be surprised how little things will actually change. There won't be any of the loud (but substance-less) nonsense that you find on Facebook groups. There won't be likes, and news feeds, and attention seeking, or any of that stuff. It will be first a foremost a forum for passionate finch keepers to share their knowledge.
