Does anybody know if an emblema can breed with a orange breasted finch.

It would be highly unlikely, bordering on impossible.

Orange breasted finches will, however, cross breed with strawberry finches, which do somewhat resemble emblemas.

I have seen a cross with a painted and red browed finch that looked very much like beautiful fire tails but unfortunately i didn't get a pic. Any finch will cross with another finch species if given the chance but it is usually if only one species is by it's self in the mixed finch aviary

No idea, but the best thing is always to try to get a mate of their own species for one or both of them to discourage the idea.
