I would appreciate it if someone can help me with the sexing of these two birds. I believe it is almost a mission impossible.

Going by the amount of red behind the eye without a break they are two males imo.

That assumes the person who rung them is aware of this convention.

Didn't you guys get the memo . .
In these high times of political correctness, moral rectitude, and not forgetting the underlying assumption of gender equality and equivalence . .
ALL birds shall be caused to be banded uniformly, regardless of whether they should be X chromosomally challenged, or otherwise . .
To further advance the cause of absolute impartiality, in calendar years which end in 'even' digits, all birds shall be banded on the left leg; while in all other years (note, that the word 'odd' is not to be used because of unintended connotations) they shall be banded on the other leg (note, that the word 'right' is not to be used lest it carry the inference of 'correctness')
One legged birds of either/any gender specificity, shall remain unbanded, lest banding draw attention to their condition (possibly perceived by the intolerant as being a disability)
This memorandum forthwith, renders all previous customs, practices, conventions, and other memoranda null-and-void

That memorandum has not yet made it to the WA bush for starters.
