I'm getting sick of the little %#@?s in our kitchen all the time lately. Maybe we need to let a pair of wrens inside to clean them up.

Dunno about the kitchen . . not my department

But I am getting sick of them finding their way into my half-full beer glass

Perhaps FB, you could try stale beer in your culture . . though, from memory, yours is a teetotal household

Tiaris, instead of wrens you could try a couple of 'Swans' or a couple of 'Emus' (though not to my taste)

I've tried most types but they don't sit around half-full for long enough to attract drosophila.

That's obviously where I'm going wrong . . :silent:

Perhaps I need large 'Swallows'

I find it much easier to start a trap going by setting it up in the house for the first couple of days, but tends to cause Hubby to use the sort of language that T alluded to. And If you think I am sharing my occasional glass of vino with them you are mistaken. Hubby is teatotal not me, excellent for socialising couse I have a designated driver.
