Jacarini

I was looking at footage of one of my security cameras aimed at my aviary today and came to the conclusion that my jacarini does not sleep at night!
Videos taken at different times during the night shows that the male is moving around without stopping.
Is this normal or not? There is no lights around the aviary.
The jacarini hen died late last year. Is that maybe the reason for his behavior?

I have quite a number of Jacarini in large planted aviaries and they frequently call through out the night.
They don't seem to bother anything. In the day light they then set about protecting their own little area
displaying constantly until they attract a mate. Once a mate has been sorted out he then will let all now
that his his area. I have had them for many years and think they are a terrific specie to keep.

Mainly on moonlit nights or perhaps where aviary lights are used (possibly also in town where streetlights are - not where us bush hermits live).
