Well as some of you don't frequent or have facebook...I had a nice surprise today..woke up to 4 baby strawberries and like OB they get white wing feathers when insufficient livefood...(they only get what livefood they can find in planted aviary) so pretty good I think...

I recently had a clutch of 4 Orangebreasts fledge in an aviary where the only livefood given was mealworms & they also had the white flight feathers. The previous clutch which were reared on termites had no white flights.

Different proteins etc another pair have started sitting so see what happens if they come out....they have built about 200mm below the other ones nest...
