Hi Kcc here,
I have a zebra finch whose beak ( top mandible ) seems to be continuing to grow so she looks a bit like capt. Hook. I was wondering if I can trim it with a pair of nail clippers? Any advise would be greatly received.

Yes but go very gently with tiny pruning at a time. I have found with any beak trimming that a good pair of small nail scissors works far better as you can cut slowly and with complete control whereas clippers are fast and with less direct control.
