I purchased a "red head white breast double factor yellow Gouldian cock."
What does double factor mean please? Is it likely an Australian yellow or something different?

Double factor is a homozygous dominant form. This means it is a mutation with a dominant mode of inheritance and that it carries 2 mutation genes.
It is likely a European yellow-backed mutation (not Australian yellow which is a recessive mutation). In this mutation, double-factor yellows exhibit brighter yellow than does a single-factor. The white-breasted gene also contributes to a more yellow back colour but this is usually only noticeable on single-factor birds which are yellow in white-breasted but just pastel green in purple-breasted birds.

Thanks for the comprehensive answer.
This cock now has young in the nest. The hen is a green back white breast red head. What is the likely outcome for the young? Will the hens likely be yellows?
